You could hear the hapless Cleveland announcers just waiting until the Knicks pulled their usual fall apart in quarter three and four. But though the points came down the defense kept up.
Randle has had all star numbers so far - fingers greatly crossed. But the 9 TO's along with Payton's 5 were more than the Cavs entire team.
The Knicks outscored the Cavs by seven 3's and that's about what the final difference was. Add to it a big difference on the boards and the good guys win.
The Knicks need to go heavy against a struggling 0-3 Toronto team. After that Indiana and Atlanta who are 6-1 between them.

I haven't seen any team playing really well yet. But I have seen teams playing very hard. We be one of those so far.

I loathe having to listen to anyone calling Knicks only LOCAL TV than Breen and Clyde or Kenny Albert and Clyde. Nationally I love the Breen, Van Gundy, Mark Jackson combo the best. |

Austin Carr, the only color guy worse IMHO is Walton with an honorable mention for Buckner, is so annoying with his signature line of “Get that weak stuff out of here!!” That I have to mute the TV is testimony to how bad Carr is. I hate watching Cleveland home games!!

Austin Carr, the only color guy worse IMHO is Walton with an honorable mention for Buckner, is so annoying with his signature line of “Get that weak stuff out of here!!” That I have to mute the TV is testimony to how bad Carr is. I hate watching Cleveland home games!! I couldn't stand the late Tommy Heinsohn. But Carr is worse. Where we do slightly disagree is Buckner. I may want to mute Carr. But I wish Sandman from the Apollo to hook Buckner. Somehow I don't hate Walton. He is so insane that it is funny to me in small doses. Can't stand Vitale. |

Some mediocre big man will make a standard move and Walton will go crazy. " What a move , what finesse, harkens back to the days of Walter Bellamy ,truly one of the greatest of all time". Now i;m rolling. Not even sure if Walton even saw Bellamy. I just believe he;s clowning all of us. Now i've tried to mute Vitale but it doesnt work. somehow he is still audible. And if the mute does work, then he's somehow talking through the commercial. " That new chris Paul is a real pt player" AND the time each year when he announces a pro game is terrible. |

As has been suggested, regarding SIR RANDLE; I cant see trading him if this is who he is now. This guys is the guy we thought we were getting that first year under coach jibber jabber, I mean fizdale, and he's proving to be THE Leader on this team. Its been stated before, what a change coaching makes and I'm hopeful this continues.

Im with you on Randle. I dont think I ever heard him speak till I listened this season. What a gentleman. Im rooting for him. After watching him play D and be so selfless, and still putting up ridiculous numbers, I apologize for all the previous statements I might have made about him. SAme can be said for Rivers. I didnt like his game or attitude. I stand corrected at this point.

Axios we are all guilty of the same things,Randle is a changed man ,coaching to me is the key there and him being in great shape that suprised me but not as much as Rivers who we all though was pretty much had a dick attitude to be one of the best spoken leaders we could of gotten who would of figured the change but it's great to see.
