As many of you know I suffer from a genetic condition called ankylosing spondilitis. My spine is literally fusing itself together and it is at the stage where I can't go more than two or three days without pain.
Sadly there is no cure or remedy for my condition and so I am asking that if any of you believe in the power of prayer, would it be too much to ask if you say one for me?
I feel badly asking...but I am getting desperate.
Thanks...if for nothing else taking the time to read this.

I will certainly pray & am honored you asked. BTW your request was anything BUT pathetic. May GOD bless.

gates,
Thank you.
I am at the stage now that it doesn't hurt to ask.
Being a cynic, I have often questioned the merits of prayer. But, at the same time, I believe in the power of words and of thoughts.
I know that the odds are not in my favor, but maybe I can lessen the odds with a little help from friends...and the many paid members of my family.

I'm so sorry to hear about your condition, but considering how long it's been since Knicks and Jets titles, I'm not sure God is listening to me. I'm going to try though, and continue to have faith in the miracle of modern medicine. Hopefully they'll find something. Good luck my friend.

rx,
Thank you.
I am trying to touch all bases in an attempt to seek some measure of relief.
I am even going to confront my irrational and completely over-the-top fear of needles and try acupuncture.
But thanks again.
It is believe me, greatly appreciated.

Needles are not so bad, Babylon. I give flu shots all day to scared patients and they can't believe how little it hurts and those needles are huge! I believe the first acupuncture needle numbs the pain receptor and you don't feel anything after that.

rx,
I know....but when it comes to needles...I am the ultimate coward.
But I am going to try. It seems that my need for pain relief has now superseded by irrational fear of needles.
And thanks again.
