There is a rumor floating around that Dan gilbert may sell part of the team to Chinese businessmen. Now this could change everything in terms of Lebron's best financial interests. this type of sale would make the cavs of great interest to the Chinese market, potentially a very very large market.

I believe that in 2010, a 25 year old mega-superstar's best interests both financially and professionally would be to play at MSG.
As much as LeBron makes with commercials today, there is no replacment for being a few blocks from Madision Avenue. LeBron would trun into sports largest marketing and advertising machine. David Stern realizes this and so does the NBA and i feel they are hoping LeBron comes to New York.

This could be a huge thing. Or not. ; )
One thing for sure is that the NY Media machine reaches Mainland China too and we don't need Chinese investors to sell King James in the Far East.

Pearl said it best. LeBron's best interests are based on 33rd and 7th. IMHO, getting rocked by the Magic just proved what Bill once said. The Cavs "supporting" cast is an aging squad. Z is done. Ben Wallace will hang them up by summer 2010. Mo Williams was exposed as a better shooting Chris Childs, and the King knows this.
The Knicks, even without David Lee or Nate Robinson, will acquire one or two players who are better. LeBron, and his agent know where history will be made. The Big Apple.
