Since the lottery hasent occured we can still daydream. If the Knicks won the lottery who would be the best pick for the team? I dont follow college or international basketball, so all I know about the players is what I read from draft websites. Dantonis system seems to need a point gaurd as the main ingredient, and Rubio defineltly seems to fill this role. However, Griffin seems like a stud player who can dominant right away. Do you guys have a prference?

Do you guys have a prference? Great question. I've only seen Rubio a couple times(and he was impressive) I've seen Griffin alot and I love the fact that he plays so hard. He'd be an easy 20 and 10 guy in Mike's system (by his second year) because the floor is so well spaced and he runs incredibly well. neither impress me defensively but that makes them perfect knicks

To me, an up front presence should be this teams top priority, so I pick Griffin. I am in no way saying we are set with Duhon, but I firmly believe had we had a true 5, a presence in the middle, we would have made the playoffs this season. But alas, hopefully all our flaws cane be addressed this summer.

A top notch big is far more important than anything else. Go for Griffin.

Rubio is young, talented but still evolving. He needs to get a lot stronger for the NBA and cut the mustard off his hot dog some. That said he seems to have some great gifts.
My only concern with Griffin is his knees. Otherwise he is as NBA Ready now as anybody in the draft and right out of the box he will do good things for you because his game is built on fundamentals.
