Now I'm worried, when's the last time the Knicks have been in this position? We did get to see a lot of new people out there in the last quarter. D'Antoni wants to win, and so do we overall. But sometimes coaches get caught up with a short rotation and today the band of seven were in total sync, and it was a thing of beauty. Hopefully there will be more blowouts and chances to keep the starting seven fresh. Charlotte is a team the Knicks should beat ...lets hope they do. I like what I saw.

I enjoyed the game throughout for the most part and the classic first quarter unselfishness is the height of what this of role players can do. I as a man will be the first to admit i was highly upset at David Lee and his agent last summer but now in addition to Lebron and whomever else i cant see us NOT resigning him. He plays with consistent flare evert game and his shot that never goes beyond 18 feet and his unorthodox play may not be duplicated by the future which at the moment is Jordan Hill and STILL Jared and Eddy Curry. I'm praying Walsh doesnt stand pat and that i also hope Hill can do the things Jeffries is doing now because we NEED more room
David Lee has to reasonable economically when negotiations start as he may be worth NOW(with his shot and what he can do that even great defenders cant seem to stop) the contract he was looking for last summer. Now before you chew off my head, if it prevents us from getting any free agent this summer and the next then Lee has to go but I really would like him to return. Stern lowering the cap yet again irritates my wish a bit but that is my goal that he accepts less money for more years because quite frankly WE developed him. And I hope it gets there because we can go over the cap resigning him AFTER we sign other free agents if we dont renounce his rights.
Anyway, this game is something i am hopeful they work on making happen more often than not. I havent "wooooooo" and yelled at a game in a good way, in awhile. And even when we won all December i still was reserved hoping that i wasnt cheering too soon. That last game with Nate in the fourth against Atlanta also woke up the neighbors I think, lol. My inner Knicks fan has been in a good mood and conservatively I cant wait for the summer whether Lebron comes or not because will be WAAAy much better than the last 10 years so personally and in my basketball sports world thing will be more than all right in 2010. The best summer of our sports lives cant get here soon enough.

P.S. If we get Lebron I think we should all meet at a steakhouse and actually meet face to face and match the usernames with the faces and enjoy a game. I would look forward to doing anything I could or collectively to make any of our non-NY based posters to get to NY if we were going to meet for a game at the Garden led by Lebron or Wade or both. Even if it meant picking you up at JFK.
We'll see. I know a long P.S. right,lol?

kudos to the Knicks for making this a laugher against the sucko Pacers. Good all around game by almost all. Nice to see Hill get some mop up minutes, (which is fodder for another thread...I think he needs D_league)
anyways the team is playing like it knows how to win now something we have not seen since early last decade.
way to begin the new year/decade!

I'll come to NYC from North Carolina to see LeBron play, and get league pass also. Hopefully with Lee still on the team. I am actually hoping Azubuike comes back from surgery successfully and becomes our Joe Johnson type player. Think we need to lowe our sites there.

Well that was one fun game to watch! That Gallo dunk had me spilling me drink when I jumped up. Im done to meet if we get lebron. Also, great point Iron- Id rather not have JJ for a ridic contract, I'll take Azub- he gives us more flexiblity. I dont think walsh will get desperate and sign JJ, bc there's always 2011 and 2012

I have to come the farthest but steak at Peter Lugers, the Garden and LeBron may be worth the trip and the full body cavity search. ; )

Just got back from Vegas and I had the Knicks minus 3.5 points big needless to say it took years off my life. This was a great win for us showing alot of character, this team is looking very good and with Lebron and another year of experience it's going to make some serious noise.

Hey Rene a. welcome back b. was it you who scoffed when I guessed out loud here that if anyone was going to be "bought out" it would be Darko?
Darko, Knicks Appear Headed For Buyout Jan 08, 2010 4:35 PM EST The New York Daily News is reporting that the Knicks and forward Darko Milicic could be moving towards a buyout.
Milicic has stated multiple times that he plans to leave the NBA for Europe after the season.
He wasn't present for New York's game against Charlotte on Thursday night and the team didn't even mention that he wasn't in attendance.
Agent Marc Cornstein confirmed that his client was missing due to "personal reasons" and said that Milicic would rejoin the team Friday.
Knicks president Donnie Walsh hasn't ruled out the idea of a buyout with Milicic.
"He practices hard and kept himself in shape," Walsh said.
"It's not like he's pulling some kind of rebellion or something. His agent hasn't asked me for trades. The only thing I heard Darko say is that he's going to Europe next year."
Milicic hasn't played since Nov. 7.

Good call but I don't think his attitude is hurting us at all still. We could use the roster spot,my guess is nobody wants him in any trade.

I agree, if Walsh could use him as a tool in a trade he would not be talking about the buyout. (Darko) Like every team that has had him I guess we too are saying..."if only"

Is Darko really that bad or is he pouty or something because he would seem to have the same skill set as Jeffries i would think. Now if Jared can do the intangibles and why cant Darko. It amazes me when he whines about the NBA and not get playing time but i guess when you have been on winning and losing teams and gotten no burn then it must be YOU.

P.S. Guess i answered my own question
