The Knicks win three straight and four out of five to start December, and NOBODY posted anything about it? Sheesh...

Jeff, isn't this the pot calling the kettle black? Personally, I just got home and ate dinner. I did not have time to post yet.
What is blatantly obvious about the last four games is that the team has played much better defense and smarter offense. D'Antoni said that he realized that this team is a half court team and has changed his strategy to match the talent.
Jeffries, Lee and Gallo have been much more active defensively along the baseline and that has been huge. I had no idea until recently that Gallo could block shots. He actually has good timing on his jump and is quick to hepl on the weakside.
What is most impressive is that we beat the Suns, the Hawks and the Trail Blazers. Those are all good teams. With the general weakness of the East, we might actually make a run at the playoffs and prevent the Jazz from getting a good pick.

But if the Jazz don't get a good pick then all the other, mostly east teams move up in the draft. Is that a good thing? I don't think so! I don't want the Knicks to lose, but it has nothing to do with the draft pick, nor should it. It should be about putting lipstick on the pig so the free agents will come flocking to MSG. We want the Knicks to look as good to LeBron and company as Rachel Uchitel and 6-8 others looked to good old Tiger. And boy is she hot.

Jeez, DA--it was nothing of the sort. I agree with the rest of your post, though.
