WENT TO THE GAME AT STAPLES LAST NIGHT. FIRST KNICK GAME I WENT TO IN YEARS SINCE I LIVE IN LA. WATCHING THE KNICKS IN PERSON THEIR LACK OF SIZE REALLY STANDS OUT. LEE AND CHANDLER ON BYNUM AND GASOL IS A TOTAL JOKE. THIS LACK OF SIZE IN THE MIDDLE IS WHY THIS TEAM WILL NOT BE A WINNER. EVEN WITH LEBRON THIS LACK OF A BIG PRESENCE IN THE MIDDLE WILL HURT. SECONDLY, THIS IS JUST AN OBERSERVATION BUT THE KNICKS DONT SEEM TO HAVE MUCH COMRODERY ON THE TEAM. DURING WARMUPS THE KNICKS SEEM DISTANCE FROM EACH OTHER, WHILE THE LAKERS ARE TALKING AND WARMING UP TOGETHER. BUT THIS IS JUST AN OBSERVATION SO I COULD BE WRONG.

You would be probably for the most part right. Even hard on there luck teams like the Kings and Thunder are playing to stay competitive in games at least. Why dont we turn Al Harrington into picks and young players already. There may be a team that can spare that and we'd still have room under the cap. Just watching all these players leave next summer for free even though we get cap room and thats it bithers me a little bit. Adding two superstars is beautiful and all but even then we'd have major holes and frustration I believe. Maximize David Lee and see if Golden State might to get him for their draft pick or Minnesota since Kevin Love isnt the stud they thought he was. At the deaddline i hope we do something and try to maximize our return on assets we have while still maintaining cap room.

The Knicks will look to deal by the break. This is why the players on expiring contracts must play well. As mentinod above Lee and Harrington can be traded and bring value in return. Hughes is playing decent enough for a team to rent him for his defense. Its a shame Nate and Duhon are playing so bad. This limits their trade value.

No one is untouchable on the knick roster when it comes to trades. we know we'd like to rid off Jeffries and or Curry's contracts so we would be way under the cap next year.
That being a given, time for management to stop talking about the "growth of the young players". a. most will be FA's next year and gone, the others need to experience some winning as growth not just minutes.
I still think we should roll the dice on AI. Even Marbury's first season with the Knicks went well, it was after that it all went to hell. Well, with AI we would only have to give him a veterans min and a rest of the year deal or less. AI might spark something positive, NY KNICKS need something positive on the court, otherwise we will have developed our players by traumatizing them and that's not the "development they need. for the ---th season in a row the knicks are out of their league.
that's a bad way to be, somebody has to run the team from the point, it's not going to be Duhan and not yet for Toney Douglas.
