Houston will not trade him because they will get better deal letting the insurance take over 80% of payments if he doesn't play acertain amount of games which is pissing off McGrady because he wants to play but I believe the numbers of games haven't kicked in,Hahn missed the boat on this point.I think McGrady should make a grievance with the players union which could bring Knicks back in picture,N8 is back halftime repoirt on Celtic game.

that makes no sense rene,
for starters it's too early in the season for the rocketts to hold T Mac out enough games to collect that 4 2. an unhappy T-mac could destroy a team for the entire season (see last season) 3. houston could trade him and rid themselves of his salary and get something in return. 4 the players asso, stern and T-Mac would never let it get there.

If they trade him they have to take back 23 million if the insurance covers 80% of his salary then they get a big savings ,they save lots of money in these times it makes sense to me.

like I said, he, the players asso, stern and prolly the insurance companies are not going to let him rot when he is ready to play, which he says he is.
I'll bet a team like the knicks would negotiate buying part of that salary in return for cap relief next year.
