Odds and Ends

I haven't been diehard like usual this year as I find myself getting home later from work and by the time I switch on MSG, we're down double digits.
But from what I've seen- i have to agree with the a lot of things already posted on here. First off Gallinari- the kid is a playmaker- but he is being frozen out by all of the guards except Douglas. Start Toney indefinitely. One concern- I think Gallo senses he will be frozen out prematurely and forces up bad shots, often airballs. Perhaps after forcing up these bad shots his teammates rather not feed him the rock? Anyway he's the biggest positive right now.
Next- Allen Iverson. It doesnt make sense to sign him like we all know other then to win a few more games and screw up Utah's lottery pick. Do you think Larry Hughes is tradeable at the deadline to a playoff team for a late first rounder or ANYTHING at all rather than buying him out? I'd rather keep him for now rather than Duhon, thats how frustrated with Duhon I am.

Some quick things ticking me off- Al Harrington is listed in contention for 6th man of the year candidacy in a ESPN article today- who is #1. Jamal Crawford of course for the team with the league's best record.
Assistant coaches- often at halftime they interview D'antoni's bunch and often they make interesting points. Weber, Atkinson, even Herb sound like they know what they're gameplan is and like they know the game of basketball. Coach D's brother- Dan D'antoni does not. They bothered me about a year ago when I first heard him. He really offers nothing. He dresses rather unprofessionally too. Is he really a basketball coach. Isn't that Marc Iavaroni who left Phoenix to coach Memphis a few years back looking for work? Bring that guy over here. Nash and Co. used to praise him just as much if not more as Coach D when they were winning 55+ games.
And some questions for you guys:

Does Curry play tomorrow and how much?
Does Wilson Chandler start?
Do we sign A.I. to make his agent Leon Rose happy- who also represents Lebron?

The Answer will give you toughness and be the only Knick to drive to the hole and go to the line consistently.I love his toughness and I think bringing him we can ship Duhon in a package with Jeffries or take your pick Chandler,Curry,Al,N8,Lee so we can get more marketable assets like Monta Ellis,or just expiring contracts and number ones,I would love to get rid of JJ as soon as posible and Curry after his dayview tonight.Let's start to make deals Donnie please,keep Gallo,Hill and Douglas everyone else can go.The quicker we move these guys the more time Hill gets which I think is very important at this point looing forward.Getting Ellis will give us a better trading asset at worst.Rumor of Duhon,Chandler and JJ works on real GM and for me.

Rene Monta is signed for 71 million for the next four years after this one. Why on God's green earth we trade for him. He has the attitude of Marbury and as soon as things go wrong the knucklehead in him would come out and we'd be looking to trade him like Golden state is.

Talented yes. Marbury complex yes. I'd think investing in Paul in two years or Deron Williams a fallback once the Jazz select John Wall and dont need Williams anymore would be a better choice IMO.

Speaking of the first pick does anyone sneakily see how the Nets are purposely losing games so they can get the first overall. Harris was barely hurt his whole career now him and Courtney Lee have barely played and they are 0 and 11. Seems like setup to me as they will, only as it stands now have more cap room than us by 1 million dollars and probably at this rate a shot at the 1st or second overall respectively. Sneaky devils know how to keep they're pick and still have the best YOUNG pg and center around. Still dont like them just saying is all.

The Nets also have the Mavs first rounder as well. Thorn is a pretty good GM.
