Ken
Walsh is a tough place and really a lot depends on Curry getting serious about basketball again. We can't trade the guy and just releasing him is not something Walsh is known to do.
I can live with Jared Jefferies. He works hard and he does get results. Sometimes. ; )
Curry is key. If there was any sign of NBA life behind that silly smile that makes Walsh's decision about Lee a little easier. The combination of a rejuvenated Curry and Saer Sene give the Knicks a potential 1-2 offensive/defensive rotation at center and that allows Lee to play PF which is really his natural position.
It also allows us to market an effective Eddy Curry as a basketball player and not an anchor.

Saer Sene impressed me in that last game, albeit a junior varsity one. I definitely agree that Eddy Curry is an important part of the Knicks since he potentially can destroy our chances of landing a second top-tier free agent in 2010.
If truth be told, I do not think the Knicks can ever trade Eddy Curry. And not because Walsh dreams about it every day, either. The guy has made himself into the laughingstock of the league.
I am hoping for a buy-out, which is as about as "slim" of chance as...well, you know the joke.
