Figures. I like what I saw last night from Hunter who is 6'11, 240lbs and very strong and athletic. Figuring Eddy Curry is dead wood another big guy doesn't hurt. Of course I don't draw a paycheck as the Knicks GM. Why is that? The Knicks roster stands at 14 which includes Cuttino Mobley. Well dk I guess thats why Landry made and the other two didnt. Landry had the most skills displayed than the others and he impressed me the most. Hunter and Crawford were d-league at best and i wish them well. What ever happened to Patrick Ewing jr on any NBA team let alone ours?

First, Patrick Ewing Jr. has a fairly serious knee problem. Second it is interesting that Walsh cut the two partially guaranteed contracts, which will cost him about $1.5mil total and kept the guy who didn't even have a contract. All I have to say is hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Landry must have really impressed them to do that, cause Walsh seems very dollar conscious, and it would have cost him nothing to keep either Crawford or Hunter. I therefore come to the conclusion that they must have a signing in mind or some kind of deal. Wally is still out there(I hope not). So is Raef LaFrentz, looking to comeback, and he might work, if he still has some game left. I would take a look at him. Landry played center a lot for Wisconsin, even though he doesn't look any bigger than Hughes, so he must have an inside game. In the preseason he showed some ability to hit from the outside also, so I think he will work out. I think between Landry and Douglas who both have tremendous work ethic and tenacity, it will rub off on the rest of the team(hopefully), making the whole team better. I think those two will go on to be overacheivers. Will we be comparing Landry to say Ariza? It's possible. They both seem NBA ready both mentally and physically, unlike Gallinari and Hill. I like Gallo and Hill, but they got work to do. We shall see. And Darko has to play! Enough with Lee in the middle and Jeffries doing who knows what.
