www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/62132/20091015/hughes_expects_lebron_to_remain_in_cleveland/from realgm.com: Larry Hughes reiterated Wednesday that he believes LeBron James will re-sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers. "I still feel that way," Hughes said following the Knicks' practice. "He's got a good opportunity to win there. And I know a lot of people talk about him playing in a big market, but he just wants to win a ring. It's not about playing in a big market." Hughes speaks regularly with James and his former teammate has conveyed a satisfaction with the direction of the Cavaliers. My biggest problem with this is that IF Hughes does still conversate with Lebron once in awhile, is he trying to send the message socially not to come here, because he himself might not be resigned by the Knicks, thereafter trying act like he knows what Lebron is going to do?
I thinks its more a burden than a blessing when players from opposite teams talk outside of their team DURING the season. Its most likely nothing of note here but its like you could potentially have a leak within a team when prominent players of rivals teams talk about what the other person is going to do.
Hughes should not ask Lebron anything and thereafter speak about it with the media. Most stupidest thing you could ever do when a friends tells you something and you go tell someone else.

Take this with a grain of salt, Jason. Whatever Hughes' motive is, talk is cheap.

I will considering the source. But i cant wait til its all summer of 2010 already because this whole will or wont he sign with us is starting to get on my nerves, despite how fun on the other hand it is to talk about.

Jason:
Don't put any stock into what Larry Hughes says. He speaks out of turn often.

This is now the SECOND TIME Hughes' big mouth spews about LeBron James. The first time, the King actually had to publically refute anything LH said, plus Larry said Lebron's "wife" (James was not married) informed his spouse of this.
Larry Hughes is slowly turning into a pain in the ass. He should be fined for, once again, engaging in tampering and making up stories which forces our future Knick to have to waste his valuable time in responding.
Now, I regret ever saying anything nice about Lying Hughes. And Jason, I agree with you about friends not sharing conversations with anyone else. I highly doubt James would even talk with Larry Hughes, of all people, about his future, when James has stated he is going to explore his free agency options at the end of the year.
Larry has no common sense and probably is upset about his non-role with NY this year.

Larry Hughes should get another tatoo on his forehead ,Dumbass.he should worry about his 0 for a zillion game.like JB said why would you spill the beans if he was a friend,he surely is not a friend anymore and if Lebrron sees his number he would ignore it IMO.

You know, I've been thinking more and more about Hughes' motivation for even being a dumb ass. The guy is such a non-entity on the team, that he'll do anything to gain attention, like pretending to be LeBron's "friend" and then spewing out gossip to piss off the Knicks, who obviously will not resign this liar, "zero player. Boy, NY was so right in assigning that number to Larry as it symbolizes his contributions as a Knick.
Donnie Walsh should simply order Coach Mike to only play Hughes during garbage time. This dude need some humility and fast. I have to admit I was initially happy that we got Hughes, for I thought this guy was a serious enough player who would contribute.
No wonder this guy was a DNP-CD during his tenure with Chicago. Further, Hughes is only making himself look like a jackass to any team who would offer him a deal next year. This guy is truly unlikable. LeBron probably doesn't even know Larry, who is a media whore and a detriment to the entire organization. Walsh should just waive him and get this moron off the team.

The real question with Larry Hughes is when will he hit two shots in a row and/or shoot above 30% for a game?
Hell if I know the answer. ; )
