one of lebron's advisors is at training camp watching the knicks and ostensibly if gallinari is the real deal or not. this advisor is purportedly in a close relationship with donnie walsh.
IF he is the real deal-- i have thought he was the moment i saw him on the court at 50%-- this will preclude any need for that "second superstar," because gallinari will likely be a more valuable player to the knicks than bosh or stoudemire by the end of THIS year. his floor is top 5 shooter in the league. his ceiling is larry bird. say it with me, knick fans: larry bird.
in lebron's interviews he says that he is loyal to his home town of akron-- not cleveland.
the stars are aligning for a knick resurgence-- thank you donnie walsh.
42 wins and a playoff berth is not merely a fantasy.

I agre that the Knicks are pinning a lot of their LeBron hopes on Gallo being his Pippen. A player like Gallo who can pass and hit open shots is made to order for LeBron and Gallo won't complain about being second banana to James either. Now throw in Lee, Chandler and a couple of more team oriented pieces and LeBron's Knicks could be a monster.
