Kidd was very effectives guarding 2's alongside Kevin Johnson back in the day. He confuses the heck out of me though. Sometimes he looks old and gets burned..others he looks like the best defensive guard in the league. He's and hot and cold, ya never know what your gonna get from him defensively anymore.

That's why I think it would behoove Walsh not to sign Kidd or Nash, for that matter, for anything more than a one or two year MLE deal. I suppose I'd take Kidd over Nash in that scenario, but if we can get Tyreke Evans or Ty Lawson, would there be a glaring need for either senior citizen? That's another issue.

I know that we need a starting PG who is better than Chris Duhon. Me thinks that one of those college players will be that player. I just don't want to see Donnie toss a multi-year deal to players who are a "turf-toe" away from retirement.
