ON GALLO - haven't been up to watch scrimmages (hoping to next week) but I have talked to guys who are raving about Gallinari. One player told me he's going to be a star. Another said the game is different when he's on the floor, you can just feel it because he knows how to play. Very positive.
@hop: I woudl say Danilo is at least 6-10 if not 6-11. I rarely feel small around NBA players and Gallo just seemed to tower. He looked solid across the shoulders. The training staff has been working with him all summer and continues to do so at the facility. But he's doing all the things everyone else is doing now. Scrimmages, workouts, etc. No more holding back.

This is excellent news. I expect Gallo to have an incredible year and to hear Hahn's description of observations of this guy, makes me wish we can warp to the telivised preseason games. Hey, we have a lot riding on our youngsters, and NY has plenty of kids who seemingly are considered very promising...
Man, I wish we had a first round pick next year. Donnie has to swindle Sacramento into that Kenny Thomas plus a first rounder for Jared Jeffries and cash deal, which would make me as happy as Rene will be when he hears that Dave Davies is playing live at BB Kings' place in the city...

My favorite Gallo line so far is " I'm too young not to work on everything". He said this during his inaugural summer league interview and I've been high on the kid since. I cant wait til we play Milwaukee so we can let Nate and crew to put Brandon Jennings to the test and to play Golden State to get even for them stealing what could have another piece to our franchise.
Those two teams are garbage to you but to me as a fan they have some signifcance to get even with Jennings whose a loud mouth and Nelson who's an oppurtunistic jackass.
Gallo and Nate wont let me down this season.

JB I think N8 and Gallo are going to have breakout years and I would add Lee and Ill Will to that party.I'm so sync to see Darko and Al show some teamwork and we could have a find in Douglas and Hill so I like where we are right now,Duhon showed me alot last year so I expect a real good year for New York.
