Read yesterday that Stephon Marbury announced his retirement from the NBA. Many believe it was because after he turned down Bostons offer to return for a year a Veterans Minimum, nobody else called.

Its not shocking that nobody else called. As everyone is aware he doesnt exactly have the best reputation around the league. Top that off with his bizarre videos and behavior over the summer, the man simply has cooked his goose for now. Perhaps overseas would be his best option if he ever gets the itch again.

I think those wild videos Steph made were definitely signs that he wasn't going to ever be signed by any NBA team. It's sort of a sad story, despite not knowing what was really behind his behavior. It is amazing that such a skilled player fell apart so quickly...

Marbury is exhibiting signs of a bipolar condition. It's really sad because his behavior may be beyond his control and as such he's not responsible for the bizarre actions he has repeatedly shown this summer. I hope he gets help.

we knew he was depressed when he was in his knick glory days, but depressed people who won't use an agent, get stoned and go front of cameras, don't learn their teams plays, don't get jobs.
Called self-sabotage. Mission Accomplished,
