What are the most engaging and awe inspiring or crazy wow ments in NBA history to you. What made you make a double take at the screen, throw the remote at the cat or flat screen, have you jumping up in down at the local bar or in your living room. What had you screaming at a small transistor radio while in the library or at a wedding your spouse dragged you to? This forum is for your besst and most vivid "WOW" moments all time in NBA history. My choices in this topic starter were a three parter. One was a historic playoff battle that was part of the game and legacy of our last great era in NY and that lit fires in Knicks fans hearts at the time when the young pure shooter slammed revenge down the throat of the greatest : www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIlwUgdp3BM&feature=related The second is an injury that was so disgusting in my book, I caught a cold chill when I saw it live then on NBATV at the time . : www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vTbafCrY4cThis was the BEST live Knicks moment of my life ;D. : www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gex2CpfWkwg&feature=related and even better presented: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TUDx78lyC0The videos need no introduction and speak for themselves. This is my list in three parts or WOW!. What are yours. -Jason

I'm really surprised no one else had anything to say at all about their most favorite moment in NBA history. Is it all we have to talk about is us not getting Sessions or not getting Lee or Nate signed or signed and traded?
I am kind of dissapointed. Oh well.

Getting Rubio for Chandler might be the best moment to come that's why DW is waiting,he's trying to put pieces together for a trade and I'm patient, all the rumors might be to get people to move on their positions but Rubio is in play IMO.All aprties are to be blamed for rumors but to make fun of this board for talking about it is stupid, what else can you talk about here anyway,I don't want Sessions but if Hahn thinks we are close maybe he more willing to trade Rubio now, their is a reason for the madness.

I'm not making fun of this board at all, Rene. I just always thought with the lack of news we have had and the same regurgitated news day in and out, we would be anxious to talk about something else. I love this board which is why i made it my business to post here and not AOL anymore.
It is what it is.

Jason
I have been busy lately with some home renovation projects and haven't had a chance to view the videos. I will though and then respond. FWIW, an interesting and thought provoking thread.

OK. I watched all three videos.
The Starks dunk. It was great but dunking is about timing and John got to the hoop so quick Grant and MJ never really had a chance to get to the ball. For my money the MJ dunk over Ewing was better and my list of great ABA dunks (Erving over Gilmore and Thompson over Kenon) would top it too. For sheer jumping though the Nate Robinson block of Yao Ming is the absolute pinnacle, the Mt. Everest of NBA air time.
The Shaun Livingston injury was disgusting. It instantly reminded me of the Joe Theisman injury... My worst NBA injury moment was Bernard King going down.
That LJ 4 point play was Da Bomb especially considering the circumstances. I think the Reggie Miller 8 points in 11 seconds in the first game of the playoffs with Indiana in 1995 was more amazing. My best Knick moment was The Captain hobbling out to play Game 7 in 1970. When he hit that first jump shot....

Honestly i started this thread because i wanted to see what was the best moment in each others' lives basketball and it didnt really have to do with the Knicks per se. what made us go wow or damn or a moment you could listen to or watch a million times and still get the same reaction to.

First time I saw Julius. The hawk was sick but ABA Dr J was unthinkable. I totally agree though I did see an older Earl Manigault play at a Jersey Shore Summer League game and even in his 30's that cat could fly! Dr J in his prime was sublime.
