Down to 318 - pretty good - If he drops another 10 we may have a player this year. ( at least until the trade deadline

I still think Curry has to be south of 300 but then again Barkley played at 280 and he was just 6'4 so maybe 300-310 isn't bad for Eddy. I just want the guy to be able to showcase his game so we can trade him. Unless his game is monster and then I'll keep and him and spread this board with "I told you so's" along with Ken. ; )

a 300lbs FIT Eddy Curry could be a dangerous player, and highly tradable...
Then again when you're 25 years old, weigh 320, take a walk and skip lunch, you lose 10lbs... keep going Eddie!

I used to live in Ocean City, New Jersey for many years. Is it just coincidence that Jack Ramsey has a summer home there? I wonder if he is behind Curry being there. Ramsey is a fitness nut, even in his advanced age state. I used to work out with him. He is or was a triathlete. Still does color commentary for ESPN and the Magic. A really good man to know. I also did some Stained Glass art work for him. He was a pretty good coach.

At the rate Eddy is losing this weight, I may have to put a new photo on the bottom of my posts. That is, IF there were photographic evidence of Big Blue's weight loss...

I'm back from Vegas and yes this is great news along with Kenny's Kink CD ,Kenny I told you that was a veggie burger,I wonder If Eddie game can improve he was the closest to Shaq like when we traded for him,if he has renew agility he still has the weight to bang all the small centers in the NBA today. He might have a value we all haven't espected ,It will fun to see,I am very confident on the Lebron Wade front I think we can get both, this is the ultimate objective and prize,I was up 800 two days with five to go in Vegas and ended up droping a few and having a great time bet Yankees being a Met fan ,fan of the wallet more the the mind.LOL I'm going to the gym evryday and stop drinking for a while,LOL.

IMO we don't have a shot at Wade. Chicago has a better shot; Miami first. In a perfect world, I'd like to see Eddy come back strong, stronger then his 2006-07 season where he average i believe a career high 19.5 and 6.5 boards? I really liked Eddy when we first traded for him in august 2005, he had a great spring in his leap and he threw the ball down harder and quicker than anyone I had seen- maybe ever. I still havent figured out what happened that season with Larry Brown...how we shit the bed so early and so bad. (Actually I still havent figured how we didnt win the Atlantic division in 04-05, as the favorites to do so fresh off a playoff berth.) Back to Eddy- If he does what he's paid for and we can trade Jeffries, couple that with a progressive year from Chandler and Gallo and Lebron is going to want to play with these guys. The point guard situation...i have no idea. I dont think we can land two star free agents. But I think we can land a another marquee guy the year after, and maybe Eddy would take a pay cut to make up for last 3.5 years of futility. neilverson

I hope Eddy is not only in great shape, but has worked on his reflex's, focus, and concentration. Eddy still has alot of Basketball to learn. If he could improve his defensive timing and rebounding skills he would be a very good player.

Eddie had alot of bad things happen in his life he's focused trust me,it helps to concentrate on something strong to forget those things that how Larry Bird became great he focused on his shooting versus going home to see his dad abuse his mom.Good things happen out of tragidies I truly believe things happen for a reason and you can turn things around and wake up and smell the coffee.I will still trade his ass because this system is not the best for him and I want Lebron and Wade in 2010.
