Yeah, I know, but it is in today's NY Post. Jim "Chubby" Wells said that "we have been playing footsies with the Knicks..." Footsies? How about playing with my reputation as a reliable messenger of KnickKnacks? This has been a difficult time for me, but this time I am going out on a limb and saying Ramon Sessions will be a Knick by Tuesday. Here is the url; www.nypost.com/seven/08032009/sports/knicks/knicks__sessions_near_pact_182721.htm

Kenny:
You are going to be the most relieved friend on the board, once Sessions signs. You have done a great job following every lead and news event. Watch out Berman, Kenny is going to take your slot.

Ken
You can only report what you read old friend and this story has been all over the place. In fact if you read the article this quote may jump out at you.
""We've been playing footsie with the Knicks the last two weeks," Wells said. "I'm sure we'll clarify something in the next couple days with the Knicks or another team and figure out what's going on."
With "another" team? ; ) One way or another I suspect the story gets an ending soon.
As to Sessions last year was his first full year in the league and in 27.5 mpg he averaged 12.4 ppg on .445 shooting, 3.4 rpg and 5.7 apg. Ramon Sessions is 6'3, 190 and played at Nevado-Reno. He is 23 years old. He is a very athletic guy who thinks pass before shooting though he hit for 44 points against Detroit last year.
Sessions can penetrate and dish. He is not a good perimeter shooter shooting just .176 from beyond the arc last year though to be fair he only attempted 34 shots all year from three point range. He's a fair defender but can and likely will get better. He has a real good 3-1 assist to turnover ratio. Mostly Sessions is young, shows some skills and his game is improving.

Watch out Berman, Kenny is going to take your slot. Pearl Pearl... I think that I must have been Ramon Sessions' agent in a past life, as I am covering every single detail of this protracted, nerve-wracking, vexing, angst-filled rumor to its fullest extent. Ah, to have Mark Berman's job and spin Knick jargon on a daily basis would be a dream come true. I would dedicate each and every fake rumor to Jimmy "Chubby" Wells and to the game of "Footsies" which I used to be quite proficient at--long story...

thnx Bill. so let's sign Sessions. trade Lee for Tyrus then jettison curry for Tmac and I think that would be a great summer. Ax... Great summer? Let's say "Holy Walsh" and pray that 1/2 of what you propose comes to fruition. Man, to get rid of Blimp, get Tyrus, and signing Sessions would be a Summer of Dreams, only to be bested by the Summer of LeBron in 2010... I am still thinking that if Curry can show anything during the first half of the season, there may be a shot with the Mobley contract, for Mr. McGrady, who now refers to himself as Professor McGrady on his web site (true story), is basically willing himself to get back on the court. Hey, having a semi-healthy T-Mac would certainly be exciting. I'm also beginning to like this Jason Williams work-out scenario and I think that he has matured quite a bit in terms of his antics, due to family life. Of course, I never matured at all because of having a family and my daughter still has to shush me up in public places, bless her soul... Back to your summer. I would love getting Ty Thomas, possibly more than any of the other proposed moves sans trading Curry. Ty has that NY Knick aggression which Nate has. We need some ballsy players in here.

Kenny slow down Mil could match we have to wait so more to see if they match,it's not over till it's over.LOL I completely forgot about the 7 day waiting period, Rene. Maybe the Bucks can just bow out gracefully and not even bother? BTW, Berman didn't even get it right when he said that Donnie Walsh was thinking about offering Ramon a one year deal, since RFAs have to get a two year deal as a minimum according to the CBA... Maybe he was too excited by the word "Footsies"?

LOL Kenny your a funny guy,it would be appropiate for Mil to bow out and save us Knick fans 7 days of torture.Even if they bowout Kenny we still have to sweat out Curry and Jefferies being yetison and the problems of the cap and N8 and Lee so you'll be busy Kenny even if they bow out LOL

Concerning Curry, he wont be traded till he takes the court. If he does come into this season in shape and contributes its very realistic that he can be traded. Another major factor in trading Curry is he only has one more year after this upcoming season. So if a team does take a chance on him it will be a season and a half rental. I dont think the Bucks pick up Sessions offer sheet. They just inked Warrick and will not want to pay luxury taxes for a point gaurd after they already have Ridnour and Jennings.

Just reported on RealGM @ 7:11PM the Knicks have reached an impasse with Sessions. Also reported is that David Lee is now interested in a one-year deal.

It seems everyone here scans either real gm, yahoo sports, the NY daily / post /newsday/ times sports, and knicks blog if not all of these. We all read the same news. IFFFFFFF we get this kid Sessions I hope he can live up the carbon footprint all this cyber ink has created about him. My hunch is he can't and unless he comes CHEEAP he will not be a signing we will glow about for years to come, perhaps he'll be part of a trade come Feb. I fear anotherl Rory Sparrow, Butch Carter, Howard Isley, write in the name of your favorite over hyped underwhelming knicks PG of the past here _______________.
Speaking of overhyped, I still want the Knicks to find a way to get Ricky Redd, errr I mean Rubio from Minne.
Coming soon; "Sessions is nearly signed" rumor

For someone so disenchanted with this message board topic choice, perhaps the chronic racist, ridiculous, and asinine banter that typifies the AOL Knicks MB is more suitable to your habitual whining and bitching, which is growing real old real fast. Your concerns about the carbon footprints of the cyber ink spent here in discussing the NY Knicks basketball team is obviously causing you undue duress, as you spend at least one message per day discussing how the posters here act as mindless drones who churn out the offerings from all the media sources available to our wee 'lil fingers. It must be such a waste of your time to even come here and read our meaningless speculations about what the Knicks are rumored to be doing with regard to free agent signings, discussing the salary cap, and worst of all, engaging with others on topics other than "LMFAO COMICAL", "Stephon is a Black God", or attacking fellow posters with ethnic, religious or racial stereotyping. Wait. I think I hear it. Yes. It is true. It is the sound of a mouse pissing on cotton, which is truly what you would like to discuss, now isn't it? Tag, you're IT. What is that burning desire which you must share with us that is so, so much more interesting than the drool which annoys you so much? I, for one, cannot wait to hear your pearls of wisdom which I am certain would enhance the reading pleasure of YOUR audience...

Butch was a slug. Rory was functional but average in every area and I ( Joe nobody) was alot better that Eisley (what a worthless piece of aardvark dung).
