In light of Nate Robinson's unknown status, I have come up with another Jarred Jeffries trade scenario involving the Sacramento Kings horrific Kenny Thomas.
For this one, I put in Chris Hunter and Joe Crawford in addition to Jeffries. In order to save a roster spot, I would suspect that Thomas would immediately released by New York and the Knicks save over $7,000,000 in cap space.
Jared Jeffries, Chris Hunter, and Joe Crawford to:
Sacramento
For Kenny Thomas.
Now, on HoopsHype, Sharif Abdur-Rahim is listed as having an expiring contract, although I believe that he is now an assistant coach. I am unsure as to what his contractual status is, for RealGM doesn't even have Abdur-Rahim's salary which is approximately $6.6 million.
With a little tinkering, how about Eddy Curry for Sharif and Kenny Thomas?
The Knicks would have to probably add Hunter and Crawford, and Donnie can even let Abdur-Rahim go back to the Kings and assume his role as assistant coach.
Mikki Moore? Is he the only center the Kings have? No wonder this team is going bankrupt.

Here's a laugh. Mike James of the Wizards makes exactly the same amount of money this year as Jared Jeffries. So, of course, RealGM's trade checker REJECTS the trade. No reason given--just rejects the trade.
There is obviously a conspiracy going on with Jeffries. I think the NBA purposely wants Jared to remain with the Knicks forever...
I am trying to see if Eddy and Jared can be traded for T-Mac.

Check out this blockbuster:
Eddy Curry, Jared Jeffries, Chris Hunter, and Joe Crawford to Houston for T-Mac.
It works under the CBA and this trade solves our entire salary cap issues for 2010...
How on Earth can Houston say no to this trade? We are taking a player who says he is returning to NBA action, but is he?
Instead, we are basically giving the Rockets 2 centers in Curry and Hunter, the versatile Jeffries who can defend every position, and the promising Joe Crawford.
Donnie, pull the freaking trigger!

Mikki Moore was with the Celtics for about half the season. Either the Kings traded him, or they let him walk.

Kenny throwin Mobley's contract. Ah, but Rene, if I keep Mobe's contract, we can use that chip for another deal! Curry, Jeffries, Hunter, Crawford on a first class trip to Houston for T-Mac...Then, I would use Cuttino's contract for Sacramento and get the wretched Kenny Thomas AND their first round pick for 2010... Man, I want it all, and if we can get rid of Curry and Jeffries in one fall swoop, get the Mac, and then get a high first round pick from the Kings, that would make for a hell of an off-season! Of course, the Maloofs better be on crack to do that deal and Houston better be sharing the pipe, but, hey, the deals do help out our beleaguered Knicks!

Either the Kings traded him, or they let him walk. He was on the Kings roster, according to HoopsHype. Maybe the Kings signed him back? Or maybe HoopsHype never updated the Sacramento roster, since they still have Abdur-Rahim on their payroll as a player, although he is an assistant coach--or maybe the highest paid assistant in NBA history?

I believe that Spencer Hawes is the starting center for the Kings. That must be an old roster list.

booth and Moore are free agents and they traded Miller so yes Hawes is only center currently on their roster, which is weird going into the year.
