I hope this is a ploy to get Sessions cheaper. We can go longer than Mil start at 4 million less in 2010 and then increase it for another three,so the deal could be a five year deal.

I find this to be one of the more interesting events surrounding the Knicks off-season, especially when I read that J-Will's status has nothing to do with the Ramon Sessions' signing which is anticipated now to become official Monday. I believe NY is trying to coordinate a sign and trade with Milwaukee involving Nate Robinson or Chris Duhon for Sessions, so that Donnie Walsh can offer the full MLE to David Lee, either for one year or multiple years. This is where I see J-Will coming in as an inexpensive back-up PG to Sessions. With Sessions, Williams, and Toney Douglas, there is no question that NY would have a vastly improved point guard situation. I also think the Bucks would rather get something back for Sessions rather than lose him to the Knicks for nothing. Brandon Jennings, for all his hot-shot comments, is a couple of years away from being the next CP4, according to pundits, and the starting job will go to Luke Ridnour. I can definitely see Milwaukee wanting Nate Robinson as a combo guard who could supplement their PG system, but also come off the bench as instant offense. In the same vein, Duhon would be perfect for the Bucks, since Chris understands that he is an above-average reserve PG, but not a starting PG. He would fit into Milwaukee's scheme for this season as he has an expiring contract, will help ease the transition for the rookie into prime-time, and definitely ease the load on Ridnour. I honestly am hoping that it isn't Nate as the sign and trade bait, but this guy is a box office draw wherever he goes and NY, at least at this point, isn't offering a multi-year deal to Robinson or David Lee, for that matter. Had Hakim Warrick not just signed with Milwaukee, I would have said that David Lee was the one going to the Bucks. Boy, the Bucks, IMHO, made a great move in getting Warrick for $3,000,000, one year. Excellent move.
