I just recently went to the old AOL board to see if the guys or gals over there are bringing up anything new and exciting like we talking about here............................
AND MAN IS THAT PLACE A ZOO NOW!
It was beginning to be a zoo in the last year anyway, but its almost like when the Communist Vietnamese took over after we left the land and its like EVERY conversation begins and ends with the nastiness that KT brings and there are even more fascists than KT that posts there now.
I still see Dk7th and pearl and Bblyn5 and Terror there but damn pretty much its worse than before.
From those that still post there that i didn't mention, what do you think of the state of our old stomping grounds post "Irish2u2's" board being the heart of where you can have a normal conversation about knicks now?

I only kept my account if you can believe it for the kncks board. You just reminded me to get rid of that acct. Thank God for this place. A tiny Knicks oasis in the harsh desert of life.

The old board is still bad. I check in from time to time, however this board is superior in every way.

I tossed the old board from my FPs when this Bill set this one up. I never gave the old board a second thought--until now. If KT and those other yahoos want to turn it into a cesspool, let 'em. Maybe AOL will permanently TOS those morons at some point.

In that case Will don't. It is sad to move and go back to your old neighborhood and see your new tenant has treated what was solid ground like crap to be modest.
Just wanted to know who still posts here and there at the same time and who has chosen to be here and never return back even though AOL restored the original space of that old website Knicks blog.

Thomas Wolfe said it. "You can't go home again. " ; ) I learned that over my recent vacation and obviously re-learning it about the old AOL Boards.
I admit it. It saddens me tremendously to see that old home of ours in ruins. On the other hand this board has worked out great and it's a joy. That segues neatly to my last point.
I did a little research and a minimum of set-up on this board. ALL of you guys make this board enjoyable, informative and both a pleasure and honor for me. I look forward to everyone's posts and thoughts and different perspectives every single day. If anything the news about the old AOL Boards just seals the deal with me as far as starting a new board for us to meet and chat.
Thank you one and all for everything you do to make this board special and a home.

BTW, in the unlikely scenario that KT offers up anything fresh or original...let me know. ; ) I won't hold my breath.
Check Marbury's webcam for shots of the top of Jimmy's head. ; ) I know he's there!!! ; )

As a West Coaster I like to scan message boards for information re the Knicks. But there are four things that will certainly tear apart a sports message board quickly. They are Race issues, politics, religion and personal flaming. The old board has all 4 items. I read now more than post and a lot has to do with work and family. When I do find things that might help out like west coast player evaluations or rumors concerning western conference teams that might affect NY I will post them. You guys have more access to NY info than I do. Gary |

(and half of the basketball 35% is applaud ripping ever knicks move of the past 10 years). |

I check to old AOL board about once a week, but don't usually contribute. Still the usual political racial issues along with Applaud asking stupid questions and playing chicken little. I don't know why Terror, Babylon and a couple others don't come over to this new, better board, created by Bill. Thank-you Bill! I just hope the riff-raff doesn't follow. Everyone on this board has useful incites about the knicks, and that is great. Thanks all! Even the original 5 pessimists can find common ground with the optimists here. Some of us are for Sessions, not sure anyone is for Tinsley, and I am not sure if anyone besides me is for Jayson Williams, but we can all have a civil discussion about it here. We all seem to mostly agree on the the Knicks draft selections as they unfolded as well as the Darko trade. I would gave preferred Tyreke Evans, after Griffin of course, but such was not to be, so I am cautiously optimistic the Jordan Hill, who was the best athlete left at that point in time will work out.
