As we all know, there have been various rumors concerning what will happen in the David Lee soap opera which is now going into its fourth week.
I think this poll is self-explanatory, but I would ask that you post a comment which explains your rationale, feelings, thoughts, etc, for your choice. Question number 9 is "Other", so please post your thoughts about another outcome which is not listed here.
The poll is open for 3 days. Thanks you, my comrades!

I think the Knicks keep Lee. Call it a feeling but all the scenarios for David can't hide the fact that if the contract can be reasonable, which means less than 10 million a year, Donnie Walsh will pull the trigger and sign his most productive and popular player. I think a huge factor is Lee's attitude towards being a pro athlete, the community, the city and the Knicks organization. In the end the rhetroric from Agent Zero won't keep Lee from being a Knick for a long time.

I truly think that Lee is gone, Bill. I am looking at Chicago and what they seem to want and Dave fits the bill. I think the two reports that have come out, the one which simply said "Watch for Chicago" and the other, more powerful statement concerning the Knicks feelings toward Tyrus Thomas and Chicago being interested In David, all point to a sign and trade.
This stalemate seems ludicrous for Lee is not getting any offer from any teams, and if the Knicks offer is $7,000,000 or $8,000,000 a year for one year and Dave's not signing, something is terribly wrong or inaccurate.
Being that is not Knick management style to disclose contract amounts and I doubt that Walsh "leaks" information to Berman or Isola, I would speculate that Dave has been offered a multi-year pact which averages closer to $6,000,000 a year than to $8,000,000. If Walsh is offering a one year pact, it probably is more in line with what Tyrus Thomas' qualifying offer will be in 2010-2011, which is also $6,000,000.
David Lee would have signed for the reported "offer" of $8,000,000 over 4 years by now. I don't believe Walsh ever offered this type of money to Lee or even presented him with a multi-year contract, unless it was for a much lower number.
My money is on him being signed and traded to Chicago for Ty.

I also voted for David Lee being signed and traded for Tyrus Thomas. and basically if the man can play with aggresive style he was touted to have when he came out of LSU then I wouldn't be opposed to him coming here, although in actuality i would wish the Jazz deal would come true and keep Boozer for one year but, anyway I voted for Tyrus.

I think IF Boozer is traded, he'll come to NY. The Knicks have Lee and more which would accommodate Boozer's huge contract. I don't know, however, if the Jazz would take back what we have. We do have players that they can use now that Matt Harpring is on their books, and his playing career is over. I would love to do a sign and trade with David Lee and Jared Jeffries for Boozer. That said, I obviously voted as you did that a sign and trade with Chicago would be he more probable trade. Thomas is younger than both Lee and Boozer, fits the running style of D'Antoni, and more importantly, the contracts line up pretty well. Lee is a hell of a hard worker, is the lunch-pail type of guy that a team with other scorers would love to have hauling down boards, and the Bulls may ante up the money in 2010 to keep him for a few years. Ty Thomas is a different egg than David Lee. In fact, some think Ty is a different egg from just about any other egg ever hatched!
