It is patently obvious that Marbury is on drugs, probably crack. I have personal and professional experience in seeing addicts go off on tangential rants, and it is somewhat sad to see what has happened with this once talented athlete.
It is now painfully clear as to why he "sat out" the season with NY and why no one in the NBA would even offer him a minimum contract.
This guy needs an intervention and needs it now.

Yeah, something strange indeed Ken. There are apparently more videos up now with Stephon eating vasoline. After seeing these I dont see how anyone would sign him without a mental evaluation first.

Marbury made headlines a couple of weeks ago when a video of him ranting (not necessarily one of these) hit the Internet. I'm sure at one point he went off on his hometown team, so there was no need to watch.
Bottom line: Marbury's problems aren't ours anymore. Time to move on.

It's very sad ,I hope he gets treatment before he does something deathly.I allways suspected the elevator didn't go to the top floor,it's sad to say I was right,I don't suspect drugs like Ken does I think he needs prozac or librium hell I'm no doc but he needs one he needs meds and the legal kind.

Be it substance abuse or a psychiatric disorder, Marbs needs help. Frank Isola of The New York Daily News pointed out how bizarre these videos were, and described Stephon as a broken man who needed to play in the NBA, even for the vet's minimum in order to get himself on track.
I agree with Will's suggestion of mental evaluation. I just saw signs of substance abuse, so I would demand a toxicology, if I were to sign him to a contract on my team.
Will, I saw that video blurb of Marbury eating vaseline "for Oprah". I couldn't access it and frankly, I'm glad I didn't.
