If the Knicks make an offer to Ramon Sessions as reported (5 years at the max for about 28 million) the Bucks may not match it. They are 3 million under the luxury threshold now and they want to stay under. That could be a huge factor.
With Portland signing Andre Miller they can't sign David Lee outright. Now what is left for Lee are all the various sign and trade scenarios floating out there, signing a one year qualifying offer from the Knicks or a long term commitment from the Knicks.
This is the article fueling speculation that there could be a Lee-Boozer deal. Note the author (it's a Salt Lake City paper) John Coon says David is a "solid" defender. ; ) He also states the road jam at PF with Millsap and Potentially Lee.

So what happens? The market David, his agent and frankly all of us thought was there is not. Lee is a good player who would be an asset for a lot of teams but at a fair price and with fair expectations. My prediction is he stays a Knick and we use our bi-annual exception on Von Wafer leaving us Nate Robinson who will undoubtably sign a one year qualifying offer from the Knicks.
Now the lineup looks like this for 2009-10:
Centers:
Eddy Curry (did he really lose another 20lbs? )
Darko Milicic
Jordan Hill
Power Forward:
David Lee
Danilo Gallinari
Small Forward:
Al Harrington
Jared Jefferies
Shooting Guard:
Wilson Chandler
Larry Hughes
Von Wafer
Point Guard:
Chris Duhon
Nate Robinson
Toney Douglas
Additionally:
Saer Sene
Joe Crawford
It's a bigger team with the 6'11 Curry, 7' Milicic and 6'10 Hill at center with Lee at 6'9 going back to PF and being backed up by 6'11 Gallinari and joining the 6'9 Harrington and 6'11 Jefferies on the front line. It's a flexible team too as Lee can play 2 positions, Gallo can play 3, Harrington can play 2, Jefferies and Chandler 3, Hill 2, and Robinson 2.
Scoring should not be a problem with all the leading scorers back plus adding Curry and Milicic. Wafer is very good off the bench as is Nate.
Duhon should get more rest and his play throughout the season should get more consistent as a result.
We have some defenders in Milicic, Chandler, Douglas along with Hill. Gallo seems a better than average defender as is Jefferies. On paper not a bad team but it rides on what Gallo and Chandler can do. If we get star like play from those two a lot of good things can happen this year and certainly next year.
