Ken....
In response to two of my above postings, the tone in your answer regarding what i wrote about Jared jeffries is response to what you said and about Donnie Walsh I think you misunderstood me my friend.
With the Jeffries thing, I wasn't trying to mock you at all and i now you were tongue in cheek with that statement but really all I was trying yo point out was Jared Jeffries doesn't really have a market much.
Regarding Walsh, I hope to the creator above he doesn't pull a Layden or Zeke ever unless the players warrants it BUT I believe we could have looked at Artest or Ariza for what they signed for. Artest obviously picked the best team in the NBA and who wouldn't but he always wanted to come to NY and maybe the Walsh connection might have smited any such deal. OK but Wallace who is he good rebounder and shooting big who also play defense would have put a tough fortitude albeit a feisty one next to curry or Lee. Ariza went to Houston but without Artest, McGrady and now Yao clearly there could have been better incentive for us to give him to come hear instead of allowing the market to come to him while we wait.
I like Walsh alot but I just hope his patience wont allow us to wait too long next summer is all to make aggressive offers early. Thats all i was saying.

Jason....
I didn't take your comment as mocking me, for I have said the phrase "ever improving" Jeffries or "the vastly improved" Q-Rich as my own tongue and cheek references to the aforementioned ball players.
Regarding Walsh, I like his general approach, although it is one which may or may not cause angst for us win-starved fans. I think that he is playing the David Lee and Nate Robinson cards very well, particularly the Lee card. The NY Times Howard Beck notes that time is running out on Lee and his agent and that rarely do RFAs sign with other teams.
I apologize if my tone inadvertently created a Jared Jeffries fan club ; )
If only Walsh could get rid of Edward and Jerry...
