Well, so much for the 50 pounds he supposedly lost. Now the figure is 30 pounds and since the Blimp weighed 350 pounds last year (Yeah, right), he is still obese at 320, if he even weighs that.
So the verdict is that...he wants an amicible split for the Knicks? How about Curry opting out of his contract tomorrow? He can sign with the NBDL and do the Knicks a favor and reward them by agreeing to a buyout for half of his remaining contract?
He still has to lose 50 more pounds and it is July. He obviously doesn't want to play for the team anymore.

I should have read the morning papers or this board before responding about Curry on another thread where I guessed his weight at 325lbs. If he is indeed 320 now he has a long ways to go before he can play for the Knicks. And get traded. ; )

If Curry has been dieting and training for the last 6 weeks, and we have nearly 4 months until the season begins 3 til training camp then he is on track to losing 60+. With good health and workouts you never know.

From what I read Curry is doing it the right way. He has modified his eating habits drastically and losing weight slowly but consistently is always the smartest path. I also read where he is working out in a pool which is great because it lessens the impact on limbs and joints while still providing resistance.
I repeat that I am cautiously optimistic about Curry. At his best he was a lot quicker than most people his size and that was his edge as a basketball player.

I think it starting to look good as far as the approach to getting in playing form, you can't knock the fact that he has improved his condition and is on track to recovery from his troubles.I can't help to root for the guy with the deaths in his life and all the bad decisions and now maybe the light went on in his mind.If he continues this path I look forward to trading him for some value as their would be more offers on the table for his size and girth, their are few options for teams, center is the hardest position to get an impact player at,Shaq and Ewing where the end of an era,Curry by the fact he has this paticular size will attrack teams we have to showcase big time in pre season so hopefully he can be moved for a number one and expiring deal at best case and worst case we don't have to move him by giving up an asset.Kenny the bigger is not meat it's a veggie burger buddy.LOL

I just read the official weigh-in on Eddy. He is now at 328, which means his late May appearances showed Curry at near 360 pounds. Now, I do give credit where credit is due, and I think that Eddy is on the right track.
Apparently, his trainer is more concerned with fat to muscle ratio, and says that it is "delusional for coaches to think he will get down to 285 (pounds)." I can live with a 310 pound Curry who is chisled like an Adonis and has more lift for blocking shots, rebounding, and trade value, if we all see the benefits of off-season conditioning which Eddy admittedly never participated in doing...Ever.
Rene--Veggie Burgers? ROTFLMAO! I will try to put another Curry picture on, as the guy is trying. Maybe I can somehow find one with Eddy eating some Tofu?
