Our frontcourt starters are very good . But they cant shoot. No way can you win multiple series with those boulders. A team traps or doubles brunson and goodbye. you can send a defender to the refreshment stand. I like Bill's point of none being untouchable. Also i do like OG but I expect he will cost a good bit. OK. Many would say trade Julius but I dunno. What to do?

OK. Many would say trade Julius but I dunno. What to do? Today comes the revelation that Julius Randle had ankle surgery yet still played on this ankle because he didn't want to miss games when they counted. Anybody doubt this man's character?
The perimeter issues are not necessarily PF and center. Two years ago Randle played 71 games and shot 41% from the 3 point line on 5.5 attempts per game. This season he upped it to 8.3 attempts but only shot 34%. Simple solution is less trey attempts. But as GG stated the problem still exists of a lack of front court perimeter shooting. Some folks want a center who can hit threes. I know they are in vogue and they do spread the court but when you got one of the NBA's BEST offensive rebounders do you want them at the 3 point line? I don't. Robinson is a unique force on the court. Let Mitch be Mitch. On the other hand a SF who can reliably hit treys is a distinct possibility.
Obviously OG Anunoby is one answer. He hits almost 38% of his 3 point attempts while he ticks the boxes on everything else the Knicks need from a SF. Another much cheaper solution is Alec Burks who is a 3 and D guy we know and Thibs loves. He too can play SF.
OR...... RJ Barrett, IQ, Randle, and Co. live in the gym, put up thousands of jumpers a day and get better.

I love to get OG ,the key is keeping as many players as possible and just like giving up picks. His shooting and defense is exactly what the doctor ordered ,the trade being thrownout is RJ,Obi and a 1st,I don't like giving up RJ or Obi but I go 4 picks or 3 we have alot and cap filler like Frenchy.
