As a Knick fan, I am so glad that we did not sign Kyrie. As a Duke grad, I am thoroughly embarrassed that he went to my school.
As a Jew, I am scared for my fellow tribesmen. Synagogues in NJ are suffering from death threats. They are already mini-fortresses and a bunch of Neo-Nazis are threatening our lives again.
Real lives are at stake and every time someone famous amplifies anti-semitism, Jewish lives are put in danger.

I'm a fan of kyrie but he is myopic, foolish, condescending, and most of all OVER THE TOP BITTER. Now dangerous. I was in pittsburgh during the Tree of Life murders. You just don't heal. Kyrie greatly and passionately understands black suffering. But if he was wiser he would also appreciate the suffering and genocide of other groups

Yeah he has actually managed to achieve that label, irony of ironies. His father has a great deal to answer for, and I am speaking as a father. And I will also say he’s yet *another* malignant narcissist; as I have said before people of this ilk know how to do only one thing well: destroy! I’m not a praying man but I am praying for our fellow citizens who happen to be Jewish Americans. It’s already bad enough that a shit-ton of so-called White Christian Nationalists are haters and fascists. And now this from Irving and his many, many sympathizers. Seems like we’ve got more assholes than ever in this country. |
