Bing Bong is the newest slogan for these now 5-1 Knicks. YouTube the phrase and well, strong language aside it is great!!
Truly special bunch of young men.
I'm so happy that RJ came up clutch and also got career high tonight.
This team has the right coach at the right time and nothing makes NY buzz like Knicks basketball when it is good.

It’s strange, because now that the Knicks are good again I find myself not enjoying games like last night’s victory as much as I once did. Without Zion and Ingram that should have been a wire to wire blowout, and every time the Pelicans got close I found myself getting pissed off at the Knicks. I think the Knicks might be recognizing how good they are now and kind of mailing it in against bad teams. Julius looked comatose last night, the new baby keeping him up? And the new improved Mitch made Valucnis (fuck him I don’t care enough about him to check my spelling) look like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar without the sky hook. Thank you RJ, Fournier and Kemba for saving our asses from what would have been an embarrassing defeat. Sorry to be such a downer when Jason put up such a positive post, but let’s see that 48 minute energy every night like we saw from last year’s team.

Thank you RJ, Fournier and Kemba for saving our asses from what would have been an embarrassing defeat. Sorry to be such a downer when Jason put up such a positive post, but let’s see that 48 minute energy every night like we saw from last year’s team. I get it. I had the identical thoughts as you except our best player was having a bad game and we still won against a very determined team on the road. Look around the NBA and all the supposedly good teams losing games to decidedly inferior teams.
Valancuinas is a good player averaging 18 and 14 before we played them. New Orleans has some good players not named Zion and Brandon and they were home and certainly ready to play us. My feeling is the defense has to catch up to the offense a little bit. We played a lot of games without Mitch last season and we have a new backcourt. It's going to take time but winning games when we play less than what this team is capable is not a bad thing.
As for Julius I thought I detected a hitch in his giddyup a little bit but no mention of an injury or any lingering issue. Maybe he is just having a bad stretch. I do think his effort is the same but he seems to be passing up shots. On the bright side he is doing less isolation plays and finding teammates. In the meantime our new backcourt stepped up and RJ flashed his All-Star worthy potential. RJ's defense needs special mention.
I also think the extra muscle has maybe affected Mitch's extreme athleticism. That said the Knicks are better with him than without. One more thing. Obi, IQ, Burks, and Rose all had subpar games too. And the Knicks still won. Let's see what happens against Toronto but right now the Clippers, Suns, Hawks, Bucks and Celtics would gladly change places with us right now.

And just like that, the Bing Bong mania has ended! Should have known opposing teams and fans would throw it in our faces when they beat us!

Yeah, I’ve seen it posted after each of the last three losses by each team’s social media sites. It was actually clever whoever thought of it the first time, but now it’s annoying.

They just lost to us the other day. So corny and both the Knicks and fans for the most part have stopped saying it.
