Are we in shock by what we saw tonight? Maybe ! It’s tough to win when our best player doesn’t show up. That’s three straight games he’s MIA. Has anyone seen RJ Barrett? He must be with Julius. Where are they hiding? I hope they’re not going to burn out Derrick Rose. Why does Quickly speed to the foul line and then back up instead of going forward? Why doesn’t he shoot his 30 footer. Now he’s gun shy ? It’s just one game. A win on Sunday and it’s all even. That’s playoff basketball.

I think I'm in disbelief in why Randle and RJ are playing this way but I also always believed this was going to 6 and 7 games.

I agree with you. 6 or 7 games is more likely. But we need some improvement from our top players.

If Julius doesn’t show up for the rest of this series, we’re toast. I’m a bit disappointed in RJ too, but in his first playoff at age 20, I’m hardly surprised. We used to wonder if Melo was Batman or Robin who needed a Batman to get to the next level, but there’s no doubt with Julius. He’s a Robin! We need to get him that star player next year to ease the pressure off him so opponents aren’t able to merely shut him down to beat the Knicks. Some people think RJ will develop into that type player, and although his best days are yet to come, it’s a dangerous strategy to assume he will become one. We still need that bonafide elite player that defenses gear to stop but still cannot. You see it in other games with LeBron, Luka, Kawhi, Tatum, the pricks on the Nets, etc. Moving on to game four now, we have to see what adjustments our elite coach makes. We know there will be defensive adjustments but he has to devise something to get his best player going against what Atlanta is doing. And on a funny note, Elfrid Payton’s mom talking trash about her son being benched is awesome! You know what isn’t though? Replying to her on the cesspool of Twitter that her son “fucking sucks.” There is truly no class on social media.

The silence is deafening. Must be the shock. We need a win today.

I'm not in shock. i just have nothing to add. Atlanta has seemed to decide that they will beat us in a 3 pt shooting contest. Therefore minimize driving lanes by keeping capella in the paint. that gives more scraps to Noel and Gibson. (but not enough to win) Randle must hit midrange pull ups as he will often continue to see 2 or 2 1/2 men. I expect a couple new sets and maybe some randle Rose pick and rolls/pops. Also be nice if the others made open threes. LETS GO KNICKS>. PS Atlanta is more athletic than I thought; certainly more than we are.
