Just some off the cuff reflections.
If anyone would've told you the 23 win team that Fizdale and Miller mucked up the previous season and add Rose, Noel, Obi, Burks and Quickley, Coach Thibs, and we would not only make the playoffs but also be a top 4(as of this writing anyway) seed, I'd have you checked for drugs and not the good natural kind.
I am so proud of this team and the fact we are going to have meaningful games in the summer again makes me just joyful.
This is also the reason why I don't like playing the "how many wins do you think we'll have" game. No one was even close to predicting what's happening now and it's given us all joy during this pandemic filled year and change.
I've been taking this whole ride game by game and not getting ahead of myself of who we're gonna play and if we're gonna beat this or that team. Humility and grit and walking the walk got the Knicks here, and I'm not gonna be any ahead of the team's game by game preparation.
The city and the really the basketball world is alive. Not just because of our team but WITH our team as a dark horse no one wants to play.
What are some of your thoughts? Go Knicks!!

Great post. But I like playing the how many wins games. For the last few years, I've predicted a ridiculously low number of wins. And each year they won even less. I thought they had a better team this season and a much better coach and a much better front office. So much so that I finally went back to buying NBA PASS. But I never ever, never ever felt this was coming this soon. "THIS IS NEW YORK KNICKS BASKETBALL' as opposed to "that (sludge) was new york basketball. Game by game my brother.

I remember my pre-season prediction of 29 wins and am so glad to have been wrong!! My son predicted 36 wins and I thought that was our ceiling. To finish the season as the 4 seed with 41 wins is INSANE!!

Now everyone can heal and focus on the second season. The TRUE season. I wish Mitch could be apart of this first round but I hear he could come back IF we make it to the second. |

I predicted 25 wins so naturally I'm ecstatic that the team has progressed so far so fast. I'm mostly happy for my brothers here finally getting something positive to talk about and look forward to instead of the draft and free agency.

So proud of this Knicks management, players and coaches. 10 games over 500%!!!! Lets draft wisely, sign a very good free-agent and make one or 2 solid trades and we're there.

I used to go right for the hot spices, like Caribbean Jerk, Asian Zing and Mango Habanero, but now as I get older those flavors are too much for me, and this Sunday I’m looking right at the medium section! Honey barbecue and Teriyaki are as wild as I’ll go. There used to be a small chain of wing restaurants in the city called Pluck U, (not kidding!) and their hottest flavor was called Death, and believe me it lived up to the name!
