We deserve this ! This latest stretch has provided us with such wonderful feelings about the team we root for. All of the disappointments we have suffered over the last 20 years. All the coaches we’ve had. All the lottery pick failures. All the catastrophic injuries we have suffered with. All the big name players we got on the downside of their careers. All the free agents who spurned us and signed elsewhere. All the inhumane actions carried out by the hideous team owner. All the board members we have fought with over the years. All the board members who have disappeared over the years. All of this wiped away over the last few weeks by Gates saying that the team’s passing reminded him of the seventies. I had that same feeling. It felt good. I can’t predict what happens in Denver next game. But we as Knick fans deserve to bask in the glory of this pandemic season. Hopefully we have avoided colliding with the iceberg and Leo DeCaprio and Kate Winslow can fog up the windows of their car many many more times. In the words of Micheal Ray Richardson, “The ship be sinking no more”.

i love your post Kman. So many trials and tribulations. So much heartache. Not only do i love the winning; I love how they win. When I coached kids, i'd tell them 'put in the work' especially when it is hard. We win a ton of games down the stretch when it is hard.

Great post Steve!
Like others here I get a 70's vibe off this team where their collective play negates some of the talent deficit they may have as a team. Here is a thought though.
The Knicks are getting better. They are playing better team ball and naturally doing the things they do best especially Randle and Rose. Part of the reason they are shooting better as a team is they get better shots and they get better shots without a superstar PG type we all felt we always needed. We have enough players who have solid playmaking skills in Randle, RJ, Rose, Payton, Burks, Quickley and Bullock that then need for a pure playmaker is mitigated. Beating this team will be a challenge this season. Next season it might be a nightmare.

It really does feel like the Knicks fans are finally getting some well deserve play from the team. It's so shocking to us all alot of us are so not used to this we are waiting for a shoe to drop.I think we are out front like handicap parking with this team so young and promising with excellent management and coaching. So many surprises from the shooting to the comeback of d Rose to all star level recently we need him tonight with IQ out.
