I hate Fred Van Fleet!! 
Great points GG. Toronto came in on a 4 game winning streak and with 3 guys over 25 points with 17 made treys you would expect them to win but they lose by 17 points. As always a team effort but one stat jumped out at me.
Randle had just 1 assist!! And the Knicks still won big! I'm thinking this is better than Linsanity!

The Raptors came in on a groove and are playing with their 'pants on fire' with 10th spot (really---- 10 playoff teams?). The Knicks were tired, hurt and yet led almost the entire game. What's interesting is the 4th quarter. D Rose is always there as the teams best passer, dribbler, shot creator (him and the teams), and good FT as all good PGs must have in the money quarter. Its also interesting that in that quarter Obi and Barrett are in and immediately spread to the sides of the 3 point line and bang, one gets a 3 point shot and it continues while the lead is built up. This team could be having problems most of the game but in the 4th they become transformed into a offense-defense super team. This win streak is the biggest in 25 years?  Seems even longer than that. I ran out of counting after maxing out at my fingers and toes. |

Of course many factors entailed the win, but for me it was RJ's surge in the latter part of the game that spelled the difference. He had 12 rebounds and got to the line 7 times! And his +/- was +23 which is behind only Rose who was +26. That says something about Barrett's floor impact. I think we're very fortunate to have him. I see something like Paul Pierce. Yes I know you loathe PP but the comparison is valid, no? |

I thought EVERY knick that played was a positive force. Now Payton got on my nerves with a couple passes but he did a good job of keeping Lowry from his go left pull up jumper.
Boucher didn't play and I'm sure that hurt BUT our bench made their bench hand over their lunch money AND make us some sandwiches. Dizzy Gillespie got worked, Trent was NOOOOOOO factor, Watanabe was punked. In 46 total minutes they were MINUS SEVENTY NINE. Our bench was plus 58. Hey Masai we'll trade you Harper and Pinson for a pair of first Rounders. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 |

I’m not sure how interested the Knicks were in signing Van Vleet but I’m his sure his lack of interest in them had a lot to do with him wanting to play for a contender. Here’s what I do know though:
