Q1
When Randle steps into a jumper it's money.
Bad pocket pass by Payton, turnover. He should have gone up.
Another stupid turnover by Payton with an attempted pocket pass.
And then Randle bricks it from that same spot on the right baseline and why? You guessed it: feet weren't set and he drifted out of bounds.
Randle another smooth shot!!! What a transformation and guess what it's contagious.
And now Rose, like Payton, gets picked on a pocket pass. Come on!

Q2
Siakam is barely noticeable out there. Zero floor impact. Meanwhile Randle is lifting all boats.
IQ leaves his feet makes a wild crosscourt to Bullock. TURNOVER
TURNOVERS
Halftime comment worth noting now: Jalen Rose is pointing out the lack of free throws by the Knicks.
The other night I pointed out the turnovers and the lack of free throws by our team. I think these elements first and foremost will hinder us from getting as far as we want to get in the playoffs.

Q3
And another stupid dump off by Payton to the stone-handed Nerlens Noel. One point game.
Get Elfrid Payton the FUCK out of the game!!!!!!
Vince Carter: "Nurse is coaching the Raps to double Randle immediately." Shades of Dirk versus Heat. Dirk anticipated the double beautifully and that spelled doom for the Heat doubling him. Randle must do the same. He has the tools.

Q4
No Payton to start the 4th. And now our kid RJ is starting to have an impact. Just like that, with defense, we're up double digits.
Not a good sign that Randle has a grand total of one assist. I wonder what his assist rate and usage will end up being today. My guess it's over 32% usage but only 15% assist rate. That's not a good ratio. I am thinking ahead to the playoffs here.
Payton, Bullock, Noel are a collective -19 thus far with 6 minutes to go.
Taj Gibson showing up for work again. Such a valuable player this year for us.
Raptors are exerting some will on defense. Thank goodness they are turning it over. Toronto playing zone!!
Rose slowly but surely climbing out of my personal doghouse. I do believe we've seen the last of Payton tonight.
RJ with a HUGE putback. Great hustle. That's a winning play, clutch.
Randle need to go glass there at 2:50.
NOEL HUGE CLUTCH BLOCK!!!!!!
RJ HA HA HA H huge 4 bounce on rim three-pointer. HA AHA HA and we're up 13 with 1:24.
NINE-GAME WINNING STREAK CAN YOU FUCKING BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
RJ's statline is a thing of beauty: 25/12/4 on 65%TS

Really? Slowly but surely?
I know Derrick has been worried because he fell out of favor with you though a 9-1 record in his last 10 games coming off COVID-19 with 16 PPG on 50% shooting, 4 dimes including the game tying assist to Reggie Bullock against the Pelicans should not have put him in anybody's dog house. He's in my Penthouse right now.

Right now Rose is doing his and Burks' job. And Burks has been a beast. Man did I love this game. Nurse threw the kitchen sink at us. And took that big L back to Tampa.

With Burks and maybe Mitch back in time for playoffs I can see very competitive first and second matchups.
That.is.not.nothing!

Burks should be back no later than Wednesday which is great. He might even play against the Suns on Monday.
There has been absolutely no word on Mitch’s rehab but getting him back would be huge. I love Nerlens but Mitch can be a game changer.
