Burks is balling hard. If it continues, then what might it cost to keep him?

I’d say around 3/24? I’d like to keep Bullock too, but realistically with two number one picks and tons of cap space, we can expect multiple key additions next year that might make one or both expendable. However if Thibs has any say they’ll both be back and the rookies will sit!

Burks is balling hard. If it continues, then what might it cost to keep him? This is the perfect situation for him. He turns 30 this summer. He's New York scrappy and that has to resonate with fans. He's a positive on both sides of the ball, which is pretty rare and quite valuable. The Knicks have only one big contract so now is the time for Leon Rose to build the future with the right pieces, even if it means overpaying. While I don't think he's a 16 million dollar player, I do think offering 12-13 million is reasonable. He's getting six million this season. A veteran who doubles his salary for the next 3 seasons has to be tempting.
