Obi and I say that because he didn't expect to have to ride Randles coattails. Certainly he was drafted because he was going to replace Randle before the season let's be honest.
Obi when they can truly find his role which may be whenever we run uptempo, he will round into the alpha that he was at Dayton.

They all share the same issue-- all tweeners.

They all share the same issue-- all tweeners. 6’9 forwards are not tweeners. 6’5 guards are not tweeners. Tweeners are players too short to play their positions. Lou Williams is a tweener. Norman Powell, a 6’3 small forward is a tweener.

Norman Powell, a 6’3 small forward is a tweener. You have a right to your very own definitions, of course. But when there is a disagreement on definitions there can be no fruitful dialogue... only sophistry, rhetoric, and, for some interlocutors, even insults, which is a clear indication of being on tilt. Demagogues are like that. With that said: I have already explained my definition of a tweener. It's a matter of size relative to skills and the downgrade of positions between the NCAA relative to the NBA. Here's what I wrote only a few days ago, just as a reminder to you and others who may care to engage further, or feel compelled to: knicksknacks.proboards.com/post/112295 I think it's important to note that you, curiously, have not made distinction between PF and SF, PG and SG.

In todays basketball there are no old school rules. The three point shot changes our approach to offense. The sophisticated shot blocking does the same for defense. Look how the Knicks D changed so much in allowing points per game in just one year.
There are always exceptions: Alan Iverson and Trae Young were 'too small'. The Euros like Doncic and Vucevic were too slow. Barkley was too small for forward. No one could win if they didn't have a huge Center.
Rules are made to be broken by exceptional players.... Or by coaches with well defined execution strategy.
