At a just a little over a third of the season done what grade do you give Thibs and the coaching staff?

What grades do you give the players so far?

What 1/3 mark grade would you give the roster moves the front office has done from the offseason to the recent acquisition of Derrick Rose?

Do you think we are heading to the lottery again or the playoffs after a long absence?

Thibs- B+~ not a lot of talented player, changed the culture, number one defense, has Randle being an Allstar. Would have given him an A - if he would play the rookies more.

Randle-A
Payton- C hit the front of the rim or the back, how is ur shot so bad. Good D though.
Barrett- B+ Work on the shot
Mitchell- B (take a shot bro, or make a pass)
Quickley-A. Love the kid
OBI- incomplete or C haven’t seen enough injury/Thibs
Bullock-Burks- B When they’re on , it’s great, when they’re not, we suck
Rivers- B- should spell the guards , only play 10mins max
Knox D Get some balls or a brain
Frank. F. Can’t even get on the court
Noel- B+. Think he’s playing great.

I like the DRose move. Gets a real PG- allows IQ to play both 1/2 so less Rivers and hopefully less Payton. Rose cannot play 30+ minutes , but he is the only legit #1 PG who we have. Big upgrade for 30 minutes.

Using Axios' template:

Thibs- B. He is a very good defense minded coach. He loves IQ but is really hard IMO on other young players.
Randle-A. He has made the most of his all-around skills and is the team leader and an All-star at this moment.
Payton- C+ he was really the best PG on this team until Rose arrival. His weakness is the three. Strength is getting to the basket, defense and passing.
Barrett- B Needs Work on consistency. He can be an A- or a C in any game.
Mitchell- B overall. A- on defense. C+ on shooting. Weak hands.
Quickley-B+ Love his FT and 3's. Could be a star in 2-3 years.
OBI- incomplete, but has shown some skills. Needs to adjust to pro game speed. Right now a C+
Bullock-Burks- B overall. B+ on threes.
Rivers- B- overall. A- when hot. Likely trade bait IMO.
Knox C- He doesnt play Thibs defense so likely trade bait and that's unfortunate IMO.
Frank. C. You would think his defense would place him higher in Thibs eyes, but he needs to improve 3's for 3 and D role.
Noel- B-. Improved defense- pretty much a 3 foot shooter range.
Rose- incomplete but should be a huge upgrade for the Knicks.

The Knicks are touted as 45% chance of sneaking into the bottom of the playoffs. Id say that's about right for present performance.
