He'd be in jail for 4 months next season but only play the rest of this one.

I think I read that he is only 24. I doubt Minny would trade him for what we'd offer but he would be a very good fit.

The way people talk about him makes it seem like he'd be an awesome fit. Is he worth giving anything up for him? We do have assets but I wonder if this conviction, and possible suspension and fact that he will miss an entire camp, no matter where he plays, will bring down his trade value.

I suggested Beasley. I also suggested a full vetting of his character and attitude. π
Beasley is an athletic scorer who could be available. Especially now. π IMHO heβs the best option for the Knicks because he is cheap, young and can score. That is if he passes muster on character. Everybody makes mistakes. Is his forgivable?

He would have gotten a pass had he pulled the gun in Texas (or the Capitol) π

For one thing, it was alot of Knicks fans that were high on Beasley especially also on the Orange and Blue Global and Knicks Fix FB pages you and I both belong to as well. I wasn't singling out you specifically. And I think it's stupid he has to go to jail for defending his own home, from busy bodies trying to check his house out WHILE he and his family are still in it, so yes he is forgivable. He has also is forbidden to own a firearm ever again for this by the ruling which is absurd, and totally on another race related judicial subject, I don't feel like getting into now. But I digress, if he has to go to prison for four months, can he even leave the state of Minnesota before his summer sentencing and probation is over? And ok great let's say we can trade for him, what do we give up? And even more to the point if after this season he goes to jail for this stupid charge, how much in game shape would he be in by the time he gets out, the next season would've started already and a whole camp missed. I'm just curious the answers to these questions.

These charges are a joke. He should be allowed to have a gun only in MN. I donβt know much about Beasley. Can he shoot? Does he have a handle?

There should be a comma, after gun.
