Good job of match up coaching by Thibs. Thought Payton did a very good job defensively. Portland can shoot but they are very bad defensively. Knicks did well holding them to 99. Nice PROFESSIONAL win.

Really enjoyed the game, love the way they’re playing. Portland held below 100 for only the second time this year. Dame was talking about the way the Knicks played defense on him after the game, and it’s so nice to see other teams starting to respect us.

It has been a while since we had a team get multiple stops in tight games. Not necessarily a cast of all league defenders but they work hard and are exceedingly well coach as to their many responsibilities on each posession. Twin, I also really enjoyed watching that game. |
