Toppin is not an NBA level athlete. His ceiling is 7-8 man. Randle gets props for being in shape even though this should be a baseline. Still makes the dumbest turnovers but he has vision and is a talented passer for his size. I just figured it out: Mitch walks like Fred G. Sanford.
If the Nets acquire Drummond that big 4 averages 36-38 minutes a night and would win a title.
I am a fan of RJ. He has the makings of a winning player.

Wow. Reading this crap I guess the Knicks lost by 30 points. Let me go check. WTF? Knicks 102 Cavs 81? Trend is the ultimate Nets fan pretending to be a Knicks fan to troll us. I actually watched the whole game and I saw IQ go off for 25 points and lead a Knicks comeback in both halves and RJ aggressively going to the rim. I thought Randle looked a bit tired, but he got his wind in the fourth quarter. Imagine watching this game and your takeaway is the Nets would win the title if they acquired Drummond who dominated the game with his FOUR points on marksman 2 for 7 shooting. The Knicks defense did a great job on Colin Sexton (6 for 18) who tore Trend’s Nets team a new one a couple of weeks ago. You remember defense, right? It’s why the Nets won’t beat the Lakers. Without draft picks and cap space the only way the Nets acquire Drummond is if he’s bought out. I actually wouldn’t mind the Knicks beating the Nets to the punch and trading for him. I love Mitch, but he’ll never be the player Drummond is.

Simple answer: the boss  wants to have dinner and then it's too late to play catch up even on rewind. I am glad they won and I hope that we see EQ and Payton switch roles and minutes in the next 10 games. That is the only thing that bothers me right now. Funny how we are presently ranked 30th in PPG and yet are 1st in points allowed. |

After 10 games, games you admittedly DON’T watch, you pronounce Obi Toppin is NOT an NBA level athlete? I was going to say this is your most absurd assertion yet but using dinner and wife as an excuse for not watching your stated favorite sport and team is even more absurd. FWIW Toppin averaged between an 8 or a 9 in all the draft analysis I read on athleticism before Draft Day. He’s been compared to Amare Stoudemire. I await eagerly your response that Stat wasn’t an NBA level athlete or how you didn’t have the time while Euro stepping to the dining room to view the many videos of Toppin’s athletic feats or read the numerous draft profiles of him. BYW, when was the last time you saw Fred G Sanford dunk a basketball?😎 Drummond can rebound and score inside but his defense sucks, the Nets wouldn’t run plays for him and Brooklyn doesn’t have the assets to get him. Your Nets are going to have to manage with Jordan. Randle has ALWAYS been in shape but this last off season he dedicated himself to a new physical regime and diet that changed his level of conditioning dramatically. I will pass along your endorsement to RJ. His mom and dad will be so pleased their son made it. 😎😎😎 |

If Cleveland falls out of it and they want to play Allen, I can see a buyout if no trade emerges. Particularly because Drummond will be unrestricted. |
