This young man, while still finding his footing with regards to shooting is literally unstoppable going to the rim.
I'm so proud that over the last few games he has tried to cut down on the amount of threes and work on improving his overall efficiency.
He is not trying to be something he's not anymore. He is not a spot up shooter.
It's rare to see a young man so fearless when going inside.
This Knicks team imposes their will and if you told me that for the most part outside of Burks, Obi and Quickley and Austin, that the same team Mike Miller and Fizzledale(I meant the way I spelled it) had, would have the top rated defense through 16 games, I'd have called you a liar.
Kudos to RJ for making adjustments and being coachable.

Kudos to RJ for making adjustments and being coachable. IMHO, RJ will wind up the 2nd best player from that draft class ahead of Ja and behind Zion because he will have the most well-rounded game. RJ will eventually develop a consistent jump shot. It just may take a couple of years. I can already see progress. His free throws are much better than last year.
One thing that we can count on is that he will put in the time to be great because he is motivated to be great. He wants to be known as one of the best players in the NBA. Coach K loved him because he was so coachable and fearless. Plus, he grew up rooting for the Knicks. He is never going to leave willingly. We are VERY lucky to have him.
