I thought of you when I look at these below 100 point games for the Knicks and their opponents usually.
What do you think of the plod it out 90s esque style that Thibs has employed?
On one hand the defense is top 13 but the offense, holy cow!!

On one hand the defense is top 13 but the offense, holy cow!! I don't mind this. When you really can't shoot, you should try to play slow, plsy defense and pound the boards. To me it is different than the thuggish ball that was played in the nineties. Currently you can't be very physical. But the knicks play good defense by hard work, solid rotations and attention to detail. To me that is far different from the clothesline all cutters defense many teams olayed during the butchery era. The Jordan rules was basically just F*ck him up. |
