First off, prayers to him that it isn't cancerous.

Second how is the trade still able to go through, if the incoming player has something that could cause harm or death, just to help the Nets?

I am thankful that Levert found this out now as opposed to later but did the Nets know this is my thing? They were playing him everyday.

I guess 2.6 million makes it ok, because that’s what the Nets sent to Indiana after the news came out. I’m assuming the prognosis is good or else they would have wanted more. Lavert has two years left on his deal while they were going to lose Oladipo to free agency anyway, so it’s still worthwhile to them.
