Here he puts things in perspective after people were jumping off the cliff with regards to our loss yesterday.
Sorry Bill but between this and other interviews from him since he's been here, he's a well put together kid/young man and will do fine here for the long haul of his great value contract.

He's become a pro instead of the brat he was a few years ago. "It's a process." I agree. And basketball wise you could tell he didn't practice at all with the existing group. Hopefully Saturday everyone will have more cohesion

His attitude is pretty awesome, he has come a long way there, might be the type of veteran leader we need, is all in with Thibs.

It is so nice to see how Rivers has developed as a person. As a player, he is fearless, but he needed humility when he left Duke. He has that now. He wanted to be here and play for Thibs. He wants to be part of building something and I am very happy to have him. He is a good kid and an excellent fit on this team.

Every team needs a 'microwave guy' who comes off the bench and lights up the game. Rivers was always someone I had in mind with that phrase.
I hope he stays healthy and concentrated.
