3 for 36 from 3 pt range. I can take Bullock 0 for 9 from three point range as he is the only starter that is a bona fide deep shooter. But RJ should never go zero for eight from behind the arc. Starters did NOT make a single bomb.
Three point defense was good though.

When your starters don’t have it, you go to your bench, but on this night the bench was absolutely devastated by injuries. Alec Burks was by far the biggest loss for the gang that couldn’t shoot straight. They were lucky in their last game because Bullock was on, but on nights like this he has to be pulled and there was nobody to replace him. Austin Rivers returning will be a big boost but not on this night. RJ is in a dreadful shooting slump and I think his shooting is the biggest disappointment so far in this young season. He’s terrific when slashing to the hoop, but they will slough off him and prevent that if he continues to throw up bricks. And dare I say it, but if Bullock continues to shoot poorly there’s not a single three point shooter in the starting lineup and changes will need to be made. Unfortunately that might include RJ off the bench, although that would be a last resort before benching Bullock and Payton.
