130-110. Versus a decent team? With not one but two real PG performances: Payton 27pts-7 assists, and Frankie Nt 12 points on 4-4 3 pointers? 59% on threes? Is this a false positive?
Some answers: Complete game start to finish. Randle looks like an all-star in this one: 29 pts- 14 rebounds- 7 assist with his new makeover. Burks is a real 6th man off the bench adding oomph to the second unit. The Knicks did not face a big man- strong in the key-unlike Sabonis and Embid. Brook Lopez preferred to bomb (the appropriate word here) threes. And a NBA team does not win with 7-38 3 point shots (some due to better Knicks defense coverage) and starter numbers there of 5-23.
I'll still take it. The Bucks are missing something now (besides 3 pointers) and the Knicks could have named their point differential. Let's hope this miracle at Madison Square Garden is more than one game.
