My first reaction was indeed “Wow!!!”
My second reaction was now Trend wouldn’t have to find a new team. 😎😎
Win. Win. I didn’t want Russ or Wall and I enjoy jousting with Dave. 😎

I think this was the most denied trade rumor in NBA history all the time up until it was actually made! Both teams denied they were even thinking about trading these two stars, and Washington was denying that Wall was demanding a trade. And then it happens! Let’s now find out if there’s any truth to the latest Knicks rumor, which has them acquiring Buddy Hield in exchange for Randle and Frank or just Randle. My son informed me Frank deleted his twitter if that means anything.

I've only seen it in the comment section, with fans talking about it but none of my Twitter NBA beat writer pages are saying anything about that.

HOly Shit that is a great rumor. Buddy Hield is a GREAT shooter, sign me up. I also don't think Houston keeps Wall and spins him off, maybe to Kentucky EAST. For another pick and some youth. Trend might still have to turn off the tv.

I haven't heard anything about Buddy deal RX too.The funny thing about this trade is Beal wanting to play with him so now Beal must be unhappy. This trade to me makes no sense at all since Houston I though wanted to save money.Wall deal is longer,so to me it makes no sense at all.I though it was a bullshit rumor to entice the Knicks into dealing for them.It only makes sense if Houston thinks they can make Wall a more valuable asset than Westbrook to move him in deal like Axios said.

I think management told Beal to say the right things and Wall to say the right things and they would both get their wish. Houston gets rid of someone who was checked out and a pick in a good draft. If Wall looks good, maybe they try and get the best deal they can for Harden and keep Wall. Or deal both and start over, God knows they aren't better than the lakers, clips, denver, portland, warriors and maybe even the Suns now.

It would seem that Westbrook and Beal is a better fit than Wall and Harden.

Alan Hahn says the Houston owner absolutely loves Harden and would probably overrule any attempt to trade him, so we’ll see where that goes. And although Wall and Harden might be a bad on the court combo, perhaps they’ll like each other off the court more than Harden and Westbrook did. To be honest, I thought Dinwiddie, Allen and Lavert plus multiple number ones (and I’ve heard as many as five, without outright or pick swaps) was more than a fair price, which is why I think Hahn is correct with his interpretation.
