I guess he better get back to Nawlins and accept whatever they offer him. League money has dried up.

But he and Obi are the same player with Obi being younger and more athletic. Similar skillset. And again we still have Randle

Obi is a 4/5 whereas Ingram is a 3/2. Ingram is already an all-star. Ingram can handle the ball and initiate the offense. Obi is a finisher. I am not so sure that Obi is actually more athletic, especially when you take into account his lack of lateral quickness.
Most importantly, Ingram is just a flat out better player and it is not really close.

That Ingram is better than Toppin now indeed isn’t close but that’s not the comparison you make. How do they compare as incoming NBA rookies? Putting your Duke bias aside THAT comparison isn’t all that close either. 😎 I like Ingram but the Pels will match any offer sheet unless they have lost their minds. Zion and Ingram is a great young brace of forwards with complimentary skills.

It’s apparent now Rose is playing the long game. I’m totally cool with that and waiting to get the best deal possible. I like Ingram but I like Obi too and he’s like 25 mil a year cheaper. 😎
