This front office is really not trying to overpay for anyone. It goes to show you all the lies these beat writers like Berman tried to spew about over spending for free agents and trades.
Competency in a front office is a strange smell to us Knicks fans but it is great nonetheless.

If we were going to over pay for a player I’d rather over pay for FVV. I like Heyward but the injury/age thing was a concern. Glad Rose stuck to his guns as far as the length of contract.
Now it’s a trade scenario. Call Sacramento. Call New Orleans. Don’t call Houston or Washington!! 😎
